At the request of one of our longstanding customers, we first supplied a tested softfall product in 2010. Going back 15 years there was no testing option in Western Australia so we sent a sample to Sydney. The testing was unable to achieve a fail and we got some great results for our first softfall option. We have continued to be a preferred supplier into schools, day-care centres and public playgrounds.
We test a representative sample regularly and continue to monitor production. To comply with Australian Standards, Softfall needs to be installed at 300mm deep and regularly maintained.
Softfall testing to Australian Standards aims to reduce the risk of life-threatening types of injuries. “Softfall” does not refer to how soft a product is underfoot. Please talk to us at the time of order for best choice for your application and consider visiting our yard to inspect and take a sample. For the retail customer we are always happy to welcome you to our site by appointment and answer any questions you have.
Crushed Softfall Chip is made to order and can be supplied in quantities suitable for schools, POS playgrounds and day care centres.
Product options are –
Crushed Softfall Chip (Hardwood)
Screened Arbor Mulch. Clean fines from tree loppers mulch, good low budget & readily available product. Try it for an arena surface or fine mulching product. Absorbent, mid-dark brown color.
Oversize Hardwood Chip, predominantly Jarrah. Large, long lasting, oversize Chip. Try it for larger native gardens, orchards, bio-filters, or even as small firewood/kindling.
Budget priced uncontaminated hardwood product.
This is a natural, untreated, and uncontaminated product. It DOES NOT contain paint, plastics, or nails.
Part filled sawdust bags that can be used in pipeline construction.
Stacked onto pallets with wrap & cap, ready for transport ex our yard.
70 bags per pallet is standard but can do less if required.

Does still contains some oil and has a slight cedar smell.
